Vista x64 Media Centre Hardware Recommendations

Folks,

I've been scouring the net for recommendations on hardware that enhances the Vista x64 Media Centre experience. Like a TV tuner card with IR Blaster (I have a satellite dish with set top box) that works well with x64 Vista. A remote control that enables change volume, etc. I'm not looking to break the bank but I'd also like to buy something that works well.

I've read several posts at this site and others about people having driver, compatibility, operability, and the like issues with hardware and Vista Media Centre.

Looking for anyone out there with factual opinions on further enhancing my Vista media centre? Thoughts? Products? Comments?
