Not usually in this case. When you are ready, we will get you an ISO. Just burn to a CD, then install. You will be asked the KEy number. It should work at that point. Because it is OEM, if you do have a problem, MS will tell you to speak to the computer manufactuer. Lets hope we do not have to, however.

Not if you're using it on the same computer that Vista was originally installed on. It's pretty obviously that you meet that criterion.

I went in to a computer shop, bought a new hard drive and exchanged it with the current one. They helped me put the OS back on the system, and it works! So far so good, fingers crossed.

Thank you everyone that helped. I really appreciated the assistance when my computer was dead.
