No. What you should do is try a locate the problem. Go back into MSConfig and reenable the previous boot settings. Then go into startup and try and find something that may have caused the problem. Start disabling things one at a time (or in small groups) and restart. See if the problem still occurs. If you can find where the problem is, then you can disable and uninstall the problem.
