At 76, I really do not want to learn another O/S.

I did not understand how to get FireFox in to / on to W7 in a format to move it to Vista.
Would you give it another try in explaining how to do it?

I believe the Firefox ESR v52.9.0 browser supports TLS 1.1 and 1.2 connections to secure https sites by default, but I've also added support for the latest (and more secure) TLS 1.3 protocol to my own Firefox ESR v52.9.0 browser (i.e., by changing security.tls.version.max to a value of 4 in the advanced browser settings). More secure according to whom?? Perhaps you missed the Feb. 9, 2019 Vista News post New TLS encryption-busting attack also impacts the newer TLS 1.3. This is 2020, and discussing security in connection with the use of Firefox 52 on Windows Vista is ridiculous. I suspect the OP needs rest more than a TLS lecture.
