I had a Athlon XP 3800+ dual core and that wasn't too terribly impressive.

do you mean Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (which is the dual-core version)?
there's also an Athlon 64 3800+ but that one is single core instead.

I can only use DDR like Nvidia Geforce Fx 5200. I need 3 pin contact like this. Do you know about any Nvidia card that has 256mb or 512mb with DDR?

i also own an FX5200 with AGP port, i dont know it it is DDR or has 256 or 512mb since the last time it was powered on i wasnt aware of the existance of the computer it came from (present from someone else)
