Vista Guru
I recently had this problem when I installed a new 8800GT card. The solution for me, after some research, was to uninstall the Nvidea drivers, run a Nvidea cleaner program I got from 3dguru, reboot, and reinstall with the latest beta driver. This worked for me. The problem I am told is that when you install Nvidea drivers they don't overwrite all the previous driver DLL's. This causes conflicts and the system reverts to the default VGA drivers.
