Vista ISO download

Anybody having problems with fresh vista installations?

I installed clean back in June without any problems.

Now I find that a clean install refuses to update.

Windows updates chews up the cpu endlessly without doing anything. It initially populates the windows update log, then jams.

After trying all the useless stopping services, looking for non existent reg entries, and renaming folders, and the equally useless MS fixit, I eventually managed to get the 64 bit install to update after installing the Checksur tool.

It is not working with 32 bit though. Seems impossible to get it to update.

I've seen on occasion the servers taking forever to answer but not exactly as you describe.

Will post in the other section, but it seems dead as a Dodo over there.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I also installed newest chipset infs - that didn't help either. Might try an upgrade/repair install. No logical reason why that may help, but I am willing to try anything at this point.

My ISO is English but with the Ultimate key you can download the German language pack via Windows Update, would that do?

I am stumped, I have been looking all day. Can you send me the ISO for x86 windows vista? I have spent all weekend trying to find a good ISO with no luck. Also a x64 if you don't mind in case I need a 64 bit in the future.

I needed one without service pack as i'm doing a course where we need to reproduce/attack some old vulnerabilities on internet explorer, and all the ISOs I got had a service pack that patched the problem Thanks a lot, installed it already on vbox and it works great!

Hi there Ex_Brit;

Like many here I've spent the better part of two hours looking for a way to turn my Product Key for Vista into something useful now that my hard drive has stopped cooperating. Since Microsoft has pulled all files that would help, could I get the ISO to the 64bit Vista Home Premium? By the way, do know if it will work with an OEM-key?

Just sent, hope it helps....I assume that was yahoo..? Yes it will work with your OEM key as long as it's the same motherboard.

I have the English edition only Manuel and you must post your email address for me to email the link to you.
