I have searched for weeks trying to get some help with this. I have Vista 64 Home Premium, (OEMAct) I think was SP1. I have tried multiple times using a mix and match of files...just locating them has been tough...have other tried ISO with no luck I appreciate your time.

Sent both x86 and x64 just in case. Make sure your Motherboard/CPU can take a 64-bit OS first before trying anything. See http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/185257-determine-if-your-processor-x64-64-bit-capable.html

everywhere gave up a week ago and found your thread today as a last look.Sons laptop had windows 7 think it was dodgy and after an update last week it looks like it has been wiped i am trying to return it to its original spec.Many Thanks if you can help me.
