Vista ISO download

Hello all, I have been struggling with windows 10 for some time now, although I've been busy now is the time to fix this issue, I just can't do mac, it's just not "me", Linux is, but I'm no tech, I just remember the days of the 2000's with Vista, the games were so much better, their were none of these nonsense app tiles and similar abominations.

I'm looking for ultimate 64bit ISO

Tried downloading, no install.wim etc, I think ISO will sort that out.. got no problem paying a pal, thank you.

Hello. For two days I have been looking for a suitable version of Vista for the sticker that I have on my RM Mobile laptop.

The sticker contains exactly this description:

Windows Vista Business w/DVDPk OEMAct X13-04660

I would be grateful for help

The key on the sticker should work just as well with properly updated Business edition vista SP2 media. Do you need 32 or 64 bit?

I would suggest installing Business edition without entering the key. Then enter the key after installation is complete.

It is not clear if MS is currently doing online activations for vista. If it doesn't activate online after you have entered the key, then type slui 4 in the run box to get the toll free activation phone number. It will present you with a long list of numbers which you read out to the operator, who then gives you a lot of numbers to type in.

It is very easy, I did it a couple of months back.

When it is activated, it is a good idea to back it up using the second program here.

So if you want to reinstall/repair install in the future, it is easy.

You're welcome. It is worth backing up the activation, so you won't need to do the phone call again if you want reinstall/run a repair install.

:)

What are you going to do about updates, or does it not bother you

I have now got usb3.0/3.1 working in vista boot.wim - both x64 boot.wim and x86 boot.wim . In my updated installation media - only the install.wim has been updated.

Therefore, the x64 usb3 supporting boot.wim can be used to replace the boot.wim in the updated x64 installation media

and/or the x86 usb3 boot.wim can be used to replace the boot.wim in the updated x86 installation media

If you want to install updates yourself (e.g cab files ) into running vista, you can use dism++.

If you have a lot of updates to install - do a few at a time - perhaps 50, then reboot.

Hi! I have the retail Windows Vista DVDs (both x86 and x64) that include SP1. I had previously created iso's that included all updates but recently discovered I had messed up some of the .NET updates. I was attempting to create new fully patched images on 8/2 and 8/3 without realizing Microsoft was going to completely cut off Vista's access to Windows Update. Would anyone happen to have fully updated iso's (including Ultimate Extras)?

My ultimate Vista build is still a work in progress. Wraith Prism cooler was left over from my Ryzen 3900X build as it uses a custom water loop instead.

I'm afraid I only have ISO's of Vista with SP2 and no later updates.

Done. Didn't know those were something of yours. Now, I'm thoroughly confused because you are looking for the updates to incorporate into your ISO and they all seem to be there.

Hello, I am restoring and old machine (hopefully) to Vista Home Premium SP2 64-bit with all updates. Is it possible to get an ISO for that from someone here?
Also, I am very grateful for everyone's hard work on this forum as well. I have been a lurker for quite a while and I have found so much help here.

EDIT: I see that Home Premium does not support MUI, so does anyone happen to have the aforementioned ISO with Norwegian language? If not, Ultimate is more than fine.

You can probably find the Norwegian iso file, but I don't have a norwegian iso that includes updates.

In other words, when you find the norwegian iso, you will have to update it yourself after installing.

you can search for:
