HI,
Working on an old dell E1505for the GF, already bumped the CPU to the maximum supported and now going to swap out the HDD with a SSD that I have which is older but still 100x better than a HDD. Dell didn't include software for making a recovery disk, just the partition.

Looking for a link for Vista Home premium 32 bit, as I'd prefer a fresh install to avoid the issues with a clone from HDD to SSD with the MBT partition issue.

Appreciate your fine work providing a link for us.

I could try it!! I am also a student and I have access to OnTheHub for free goodies, but they only give win 8 that is HORIFIC and windows 10! They removed windows 7.. sad.

In the end of the day I could purchase him a windows 10N version for free. His laptop is L300D-10B with 4gigs of ram and my only fear is, all those monitoring stuff by microsoft may be very heavy for a laptop...? I can deactivate them but microsoft secretly activates them with updates, to much resources drained for monitoring.

Done. Thank you so much for the .iso.

So, from reading the e-mail, I need to extract (I have WinRAR?) and use IMGBurn to install? I may or may not have a USB lying around the house.

Unzip it first. Then simply use IMGBurn to burn the DVD. That way you'll always have your installation media handy.
It is possible to install from an ISO but you'd need to look that up as I've never done it that way.
