I am having the exact same problem, but I'm using iTunes version 7.6.0.29. Since the original poster didn't follow up with this (and this seems like the post most relavent to my problem), I'll go ahead and post my diagnostics here. I know causing old threads to resurface is forum taboo, but since this is my exact problem, and it was never resolved, hopefully no-one will mind.
