Are you sure, Because the way it reads to me is the boot order is in order as listed for the BIOS to find an Operating System, but only the CDROM drive prefixed with the (1.) is actually a bootable device, and it is at the bottom of the list.thats the way it is set to boot from cd/rom 1st then from hdd and i get the error as in the pic above
It will automatically search the HDD first for an O/S and not look for bootable files on the CDROM Drive. This is a common setup for Systems with recovery partitions. It will never attempt to look for bootable files/programs off the CD drive at restart, and will constantly boot into Windows on the HDD and never boot off the CD Drive; hence, no "hit any key to boot from disk" message at restart.
"The list specifies the order that the BIOS searches devices when trying to find an Operating System. Only devices preceded by a number are BOOTABLE"
USB Floppy (not present)
SATA HDD
IDE HD (not present)
1.CDROM
USB Device
Your only present "bootable" device needs to be first on the list. Right now, only using a USB floppy will boot before the O/S on the SATA HDD.
