vista 32 - replaced 2 hard drives / still down

It should be fine. It's usually only during installation that there are issues with RAM. After you install Vista and do windows updates, add the rest of your RAM and you should be fine.

Sounds good. I have Vista installed and running and have the microsoft updates set on auto. The ram should arrive tomorrow - I will keep you posted. Thanks!

Well - added the 1G to the Vista - everything is fine! Running a 512 with a 1G. Nice and quick! So far so good! Thanks again to everyone that helped me!
