(VHP 64bit) Explorer.exe freezing upon start up, even in safe mode! Please help!! :(

I have windows vista recovery media... I think I'm just going to use those, as I don't think I have a recovery partion. Where would that be located if I had it? Also, any tips for using my recovery discs? Again, thank you all so much! I'd be totally lost with out you!

If you click- Start orb > Computer it will show a drive marked- Recovery if it's there at all.

Back up your personal files first.

Nope, no recovery partition.. darn.. oh well, thank you for the link, and yes, I have backed up all of my personal files.

Okay, just thought I'd let you know, all's well!! Seems too work fine now after using the recovery discs.. took awhile to get all my settings and things back to normal and everything reinstalled, but it works great now! Thank you all so much for the help!!
