Talk about a really really bad few days....

Yesterday, the worst day I have ever had at work. It just plain sucked. That was just the start.

So, watching the weather online(hour by hour)last night to see what it would be like this morning, it looked pretty good. (FYI, this was only about 4 hours before actually leaving to go out on the lake.)

Now don't get me wrong, I don't mind some rain at all, and when looking at 3 different sites for the weather, it was SUPPOSED to be cloudy, with a slight chance of drizzle, and an accumulation of .05" , which is basically nothing.....then it was supposed to rain more from about 11am on through the afternoon.
So, we get going about 3:30am this morning, it's calm and just about perfect for fishing on the lake. we don't even get the boat launched and it starts sprinkling. No big deal, right?

It rained, and poured heavily for 5 hours......yes, 5 hours. According to everything we saw, it wasn't even supposed to do that much all day, much less at THAT time of the day. We got completely soaked, and to top it off, it got windy as hell.

I have known for years that the "forecasts" aren't usually dead on(ok....NEVER dead on) , but it would be nice if they could at least be somewhat close. I still can't believe there's actually a channel dedicated to showing weather forecasts.

So, tomorrow morning, the forecast is basically the same as it was SUPPOSED to be today, and start raining about 10-11 am, with very little total accumulation. In other words, it'll start about 4am and will pour until after noon.

lol. That sucks. I've never really paid a lot of attention to weather forecasts and I guess I might as well not even waste my time...

Today is Saturday. Today, I did NOTHING productive... I am ashamed of myself. lol.

I think I need to find some outlet of motivation.

Do you guys ever feel like that?.. Like you have no interest in doing anything and just sit around all day like.. blah. I don't know, any suggestions?

As I was typing this, I realized... once again...

I was wondering to bit i don't think the bosses disclose that sort of info

must have broken one of the rules.

I only noticed because he is on my friends list

I too noticed that a couple days ago... Pizzaman was of my first VF friends. Reviewing his posts I see nothing breaking any forum rules... Can an Admin or Mod answer this question?

Yes, he was also one of my first friends here, who stayed and helped with my questions. I just wouldn't think that someone like him would do anything to break the rules.

He reported about 50 emails from our sites to his ISP as spam, so I banned him.

I work very hard to keep the huge amount of email we send flowing to our members, people that report them as spam cause me huge problems and lots of work.

If you're board and you've got an old spare PC (that can support 64bit OSs and has a 120GB HDD) you may want to have a play around with Windows Home Server Vail.

It's really interesting if you don't normally handle Servers.

Please note that it will wipe EVERY drive on the machine it's installed on, not just the one you're installing it on.
