Lmao nice find!

Today we went to get my mums BB fixed, as she has no or next to no internet connection since she bought the phone. She took it in and we was lucky as we saw the assistant manager of the store, and she confirmed the problem, the phone has been connecting to the T-Mobile network instead of Virgin, for the past 18 months. The assistant manager believes its a problem with the phone, as it says its connected to Virgin, but when she scanned for networks it only showed O2 and T-Mobile. I think they're gunna send a new phone to us, so hopefully the problem will be fixed! Lol.

While we was there, I got my contract upgraded! For an extra 99p I can get 200 normal mins,3000 virgin mins,5000 texts and 1GB interwebs. Not bad!! So now it's a SIM only contract, 30 day rolling afaik. So it means I can stick it in any phone and it'll work. Virgin don't officially support iPhones, but I've been told it'll work in them, so if I get an iPhone 4 I'll have to get someone to cut the SIM down for me, or try myself and hope I don't fail lol.

@Tom, I've got the CS5 suite! I also have Elements 4 and 6, and 7 somewhere, but have lost the codes or the disc, so until I find them I'll have to try with CS5 lol.

the sim cutting does work brilliantly, ive done it myself with ipad 2, works a treat from 3 to orange and O2

Alright, was it easy to do? Did you use a template from the internet or just cut it down till it fit in the holder?

i had a microsim in the ipad already, i just used that as a template, and cut the size with the contacts to roughly the same position, worked brilliantly, got signal almost instantly

Since this new package has been activated, I still can't get online. I say it's a problem at their end. :/

sounds about right for virgin, they cancelled my direct debit for no reason and told me that I cancelled it, then they said that it usually shows up that I cancelled it and couldn't work out why it was cancelled lol.

They'll work it out eventually.

I'm now on day 2 of letting my kid break in his new thrown together Vista PC. the old one died(finally), so i found someone that gave me a PC because he couldn't get it working. Took me about 2 minutes to figure out it was the motherboard. So, I ordered some new parts to go along with the case, vid card, power supply that was in it already.

My retail version of Vista is on it now(i use my laptop with 7 nowadays), running a Phenom II 3.3GHz, 4gb of ram, 9800GT. So far so good, can't believe how cool it runs too, even with the stock fan that the processor came with it.

Today i'm doing nothing but watching football while it rains outside.

Well, I forgot to reply, so yeah...

Since I last stopped by here way over a month ago, alot has happened, like, alot.

I've started my apprenticeship -
Have been there for around 5 weeks, it's been awesome so far. It feels great to be doing stuff that makes an impact on someone else, example, I replaced 10 mobos in a class, and got half of it working faster, with the 10 spare boards I was able to get a further 3 machines working in another room!

We're in the middle of redecorating the house -
My parents room has been done, mine is being done atm, hopefully I'll be back in there soon.

I'm getting another server -
Since I last posted I've been using my servers a little more, hopefully I'm getting the DL360 G7, the one with 6 drives.

My netbook died -
Have been looking at EEEPad Tranformers, and I'm defo getting one!
When the netbook died, it was plugged into a car power supply, so we think that it just surged and fried. The hard drive is ok, was able to get most of my stuff from it.

It probs don't seem alot when you read it like I've put it, but the past 5 weeks have gone so quickly, it's unbelievable.
