Also I've found that the sort of people that tend to call 'tech help' are the type of people you wouldn't want to have a conversation with in a bar, even for 1 minute.
They tend to be out-of-touch morons without a clue
Well I wouldn't go that far, I've called Tech Support with regards this Vista machine of mine but a couple of the calls were before I got it asking a few details about it and another was with regards the brand of CD's they used on the machine as the ones I had would read but wouldn't write.
I spoke with a very nice gentleman at the manufacturers who did know what he was talking about
