Hi all,
Now I'm wondering if some of these apps./progs. that
I know that I have uninstalled can be removed from this list?
And if so how?

Try expanding the "Startup Item" and "Command" columns to make them a little more visible, and post another screenshot.
But from what I CAN see, I'll disable the following:
OsdMaestro - Without more details, I'm guessing that this provides some kind of "On Screen Display" for media devices? Un this functionality is desired, then this item can also be disabled.
RegistrySmart - Sounds like some type of registry cleaner and/or optimizer. These things are snake oil, and do more harm than good.
Java(TM) Pl... - I've encountered very few websites these days that require JAVA, so this entry is also redundant, unless for some reason you actually need it.
SweetIM - This is you Instant Messenger utility, isn't it? Unless you actually use it, you can get rid of it too.
SnapFish Me... - I'm also guessing that this might be an Instant Messenger utility - Why do you need two? And unless you're actually using it, you can disable it from startup. Is this perhaps not "Snapfish Memories"? This belongs to HP. Disable this unless you actually need the utility.
Microsoft Of... - This is "Microsoft Office Startup", correct? I've disabled this particular entry every time I've installed Office on more computer than I can remember, and Office has never given any problems. It work fine without this entry.
I'll post back more details on the remaining entries once I can see them more clearly.
Also, go to the Service tabs, hide all Microsoft Services, expand the column to make them more visible, then post a screenshot of that too.

Hi Ted,
In the Location area, under the Startup tab, you will see where the startup program is listed in the registry. Go to that location in the registry and you will see the Startup Item listed in the right pane of the registry under Name . You can then right click on the Name and click Delete to get rid of it in System Configuration.

Thanks guys
Brink it seems that now that I have uninstalled them,
now when I go to the registry location they are no longer
listed, to be deleted. If this leaves me with the only option
to reinstall> delete> uninstall, I don't know if it's worth all
that trouble. I may just "live" with it. Lessons learned.
Thank you for your help.

When you uninstalled these programs, did you use their uninstall option in Programs and Features in the Control Panel?

Hey Brink
Hi buddy
When you uninstalled these programs, did you use their uninstall option in Programs and Features in the Control Panel?
Yes I did. But I figured it out all by myself. :D I'm proud of myself !!! After I went to work today I started to think that if I
enabled them at startup and then went to the registry location
and then deleted them they would go away. It worked !!! COOL
But I do thank you for all your help, without you I wouldn't have
known where to start in the first place.
Thank you Shawn
