Sound barrier

i was using CPU-Z But I downloaded and installed this, and my computer ID Is

FUJITSU SIEMENS AMILO Li 1718

According to that, the internal speakers are automatically disabled. Are you sure that you are using the correct socket? It should be number 5, as shown below.

That looks as how it should, with the plugs correctly orientated. So you are still getting sound in both speakers and headphones? What happens when you try the following?

Mate, I tried that it only mutes the sound
No sound in the speakers or the headset

Strange problem. Have you tried an alternative headphones/external speakers?

Go to the HD manager. What happens when you double click on the image of the socket (see image)?

Well, i tired that, and nothing happend (?)
I don't know i I should restart my computer, because I already did, 10 mins ago. Because of Vista update, should I try it again?

Sorry, but I can only provide what I can find. It is possible that the socket itself is faulty and is not actually functioning as it should, or the wiring to it could be faulty. You might need to consult a laptop specialist in your area to determine if this is the case.

Btw, the socket were the green wire is plugged in, is a little like, its little lose. Its because I take out the wires violently if you understand what i mean, so if I touch the green a little sometimes it can come very bad sound because of that
Its a little loose.

It does sound as though it is a fault with the socket, and you will need to consult a specialist.
