I am going to differ with what you said.. I think that my new HP has the slowest internet in the world.. I am going through the same pain.. I hate this bull(happy).

oh, and I have comcast. I am starting to think that the installation CD from Comcast did this.. That's my suspect.
I have a Built in N-card Networking. And a cisco wireless N-Router at home..
The internet being picked up at school is just as bad. That why I think it's this HP machine.
I am pretty up to date with my drivers. at less in the last month.
