If the router came from your ISP you should still be able to flash the firmware. Open up device manager, then write your router and search for new firmware. Also scan your pc with malwarebyte's. Something could be leaching your pc too. Are you using wireless?

I am going to differ with what you said.. I think that my new HP has the slowest internet in the world.. I am going through the same pain.. I hate this bull(happy).

oh, and I have comcast. I am starting to think that the installation CD from Comcast did this.. That's my suspect.

I have a Built in N-card Networking. And a cisco wireless N-Router at home..
The internet being picked up at school is just as bad. That why I think it's this HP machine.

I am pretty up to date with my drivers. at less in the last month.

You know how they say slow as dirt? Well. Dirt just outran me in wheel chair on the side of the road.

My Computer

Are you 100% sure you have the latest drivers? Can you roll back the wireless driver to the previous one?
