Solved Silverlight

I am trying to install the latest Silverlight update but get an error. It was suggested to uninstall the current version first but when I try uninsta;;ing i get the message; Cannot open this key; HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{DFEAF541-F3E1-4c24-ACAC-99C30715084A}
Can anyone help please..

You might see if you may be able to install Silverlight from the Microsoft link below instead.

Hello, i just looked at Brink's links and if you are having an issue, may i suggest using Revo-uninstaller, a free program, use the advanced method and it will look for bits in the registry, it also makes a restore pt in case of an error. Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems
Use the free version, i use it and i have had no issues. When done, you may want to restart, then go for your install of Silverlight. Good luck !!
