Shortcuts on Desktop with Vista
Although web page icons are clearly inserted in shortcuts created on Desktop with XP same web page icons cannot be inserted with Vista ..
Can someone give me a logical explanations.
I have tried all tricks and means to do it but a frame pops up , telling that this web page is not possesing an icon.

This tutorial will help show you how to create internet website shortcuts on the desktop in Vista. I'm not sure about the icon issue. If the website does not have a favicon for it, then usually the shortcut will use the defaule "e" IE icon instead.
