I'm running vista 64bit on my home computer and it's worked fine for the past 5 or so months. But just today I started having serious issues with it that I couldn't find help for on the net.
Everything boots fine and I'm able to login fine. All the usual startup programs (msn, avg, etc) start up fine but as soon as I try to click anything (close a window, open the start menu, click on a shortcut) the whole screen freezes where it is (the mouse can still be moved about but it usually just displays the circular loading symbol). The only way I can get out of this is to ctrl alt delet and log off (the task manager jams up in a similar way). This happens across all the users.
Any help?
