Screen Capture for Windows Vista (32-bit)

I started the Vista computer and after the desktop appeared I clicked on the snipping tool shortcut in the task bar. Then I checked the Task Manager and I found no evidence of a snipping tool. Then I opened Photoshop, clicked File>New and then typed Ctrl+V to paste in whatever was on the clipboard. Nothing happened. So I think I'll just delete the shortcuts and any references to the snipping tool that's in the Registry.

When the snipping tool is available, clicking on it will cause a sort of a translucent haze over the screen and a little dialogue box. Nothing is added to the clipboard until one defines the area to be clipped. That's done by clicking on one corner of whatever it is you want to snip and dragging to an opposite corner of what you want to snip. Once done, the editing box opens with the snippet in it. Since it's not running in Task Manager (I assume you did the Cntrl-Alt-Delete right after you clicked on the snipping tool shortcut), and you're happy with the other software, there's no need to pursue the problem.
