Go to the book icon in the upper left hand corner. This should bring your favs. Go to each site and bring them up. Then press add to favs. It worked for me.

Or click the Gear icon and choose "Show Menu Bar"
Now you can use the available "File"menu to import an html file.
I exported my Google Chrome bookmarks to an html file and used that. Worked fine.

thanks that got it.
i like it accept that it doesn't reopen all tabs from last session when started .
hopefully they will add that option in the near future.
i know theirs an option to open all windows from last session but that actually starts a whole new window from the one just started instead of just opening the tabs in the current window

I've been absolutely thrilled with Safari 4 Beta :). So good, so fast and never crashed once. My only regressions are:

1. bookmarks can't be arranged in any way (by name, by date..) which kind of sux;

2. I would prefer to have "new tab" button on the left side (where back/next buttons are) instead of far right tab position.

3. Also I would like to see more zoom control options in the final version (like 100%, 110%,120%) you know, user defined steps and also to have ability to set up default zoom.

4. tab preview (when you hover mouse over tabs)

And yes, there is no Full Screen view in this beta build (at least in Vista).

Cheers,
Miki

Yes, I noticed you can not move your favorites list around to what you want. Maybe they will look into this for the final.

FF has much better bookmarks manipulation options, even from Bookmarks menu have various options for rearrange/rename etc. Also I miss some of the FF extensions, but I can live with this. Just hope Safari will either offer some heavy customizations or allow extensions which would be great for FF users.

I have never used Safari 3 though, as it had this "blurry font issue" on Windows. I'm glad this has changed in Safari 4.

Also, I hope in final version we'll have more options in Downloads, at least double click to open downloaded contents as oppose to clicking that small icon on the right.

It may sound funny, but I would really like to see quick search (when you press "/" in FF or Opera) instead of "old-style" CTRL+F.

Cheers,
Miki
