I have tried it. It is not bad. Seems fast enough. Layout is good. A bit of getting used to but all the same. Mostly eyecandy and different a way to browse the web. I used it with XP. Maybe I will try with Vista.

I loaded it up on Vista 64. Works fine. I kind of like it also. It grows on you. Just different and new.

I do not hate Apple Mac but i m a big time fan of Windows as its
"Endlessly Configurable".

I never used a Mac. Always PC. This programs works on PC and works well. I will mess with it for a while.

Crashed 2nd time i launched it on Vista Ultimate X64...
But i'll give it some time.

Almost same design with Google Chrome. But it's fast as they promised. I liket it.
But I don't give up Opera :D

I have not experienced any crashes. Works fine on my XP and Vista 64 OS. It could use some changes. Specifically if you use the drop down to find your favorites I can not find a way to organize the list. Such as Firefox and IE, one could click and drag to were they want it on the list. It is fast enough. I have not used Opera, been a IE user for years without issue. Sometimes change is good though.

Also, I think using a 22 inch monitor or larger works best for this browser.

hi trying out safari and i cant see where to import favs from firefox is it possible and can safari save all open tabs when its closed so when its reopened all tabs automatically open again

On the left hand side it should show your favs from Firefox. I know mine does and it also showed IE favs as well.

This option is only availbale with Firefox.
But you can always do it manually by copying each of your favourites from other browsers to safari.

What you do is go to the picture of the gear in the upper right hand corner. Click preferences. Click general. Then scroll the "new windows open with" use TOP Sites. From then on it will open to YOUR tops sites.

Both IE 8 and Safari 4 are beta versions.
We definitely hope for many improvements out of these 2 browsers.
But all the major browsers like IE8, safari4, FF3 and Google Chrome are in their Beta Phase.
Is there a full featured, fast, secure and light browser?

might have to try it.. i do have iphone and itunes which asks me to install safari 4 beta

Yes, it is fun to use. If you have those two other programs, Safari is supposed to work right along with them. Give it a try.
