ReadyBoot (not Readyboost) speed up? Windows Vista has some nice features like Superfetch and Readyboost... these work together to speed up your system
however it also has a process called READYBOOT which works with SUPERFETCH to speed up the boot process...
Now it seems my 64-Bit Vista is superfast at booting with this , but after uninstalling Adobe Suite CS4 its slowed down quite a bit.. ive defragged (even though it was only 2.6% fragged) and cleaned out registry but this hasnt really helped...
is there a way to re-train or re-fresh the readyboot cache?
My vista64 used to take 6 scrolling bars to get to login screen then about 4 seconds after clicking my username the desktop would appear and icons fly in the tray about 3-a-second , now since uninstalling Adobe it takes 10 bars (along the bottom of bootscreen) and the icons are really slow to load in at about 1 every 2 seconds... ive rebooted 4 times simultaneously as sometimes this helps but its not in this case....
can anyone help me get its superfast speed back?
thanks
