Ram upgrade help!!

If it says there is no upgrade, then you have the latest drivers.

from the ATI website. if there's no downloadable content for 64bit OS, how am i going to download the driver if i upgrade to 64bit? from the CNET? even in the CNET, there's no window vista OS system for this download.. but its in the additional requirement. what does that mean?

i cant find it on the ati website link me to the driver :)

yes i cant see that chip at all thats my problem :huh: i cant find any drivers never mind 64 bit ones whats the serial number of your laptop , use ot to search compaq for a driver

i'm sorry but i don't really get you... use the serial number (where to find it?) and search the driver from compaq website is it?

what i mean is if i goto compaq support and search for Presario CQ40 i get about thirty laptops , so i need to narrow it down lol

hehe. Archie, about the graphic driver it's stated "AMD video driver" for the donwload. does it includes the ATI catalyst with it as well?

AMD are ATI :) looking at the size of it i expect its the control center and the driver , the full package

right the wifes at me to go light the BBQ im off to drink beer :D
