OK you do not have Ethernet connected.
Cable (Ethernet) is a wire from the street to your house that goes into the back of your modem with another wire going to either a Router or directly to your computer.
What you have is Wireless (not as fast) and all I could advise is to go to device manager and see who makes your network adapter. Go to their site and download the latest driver from there and install it. Don't use update driver in Device Manager until you have downloaded it.
Then go to Device Manager and update the driver. When it asks if you want to search your computer or go on-line pick search your computer and go to the downloaded file.
Did MalwareBytes find anything?
I don't think Namebench will help you on Wireless.
If you can I would change to Cable Broadband as when I was on Wireless the best download speed I ever had was only 140KB/Sec
On cable I now get 15MB/sec Download and 2MB/Sec upload.
Huge difference and turned out much cheaper as well with my 40Gig data cap a month costing $69

I see the problem, it's a 3G modem people, just google "cricket broandband modem" and it comes up with a 3G dongle, your speeds are bad because you are using the same network as your cellular telephone, no amount of driver updating will help you get a faster speed unfortunately, you would need cable or standard phone service to receive a faster speed Jason, sorry.

Yes I tried a Merlin Express Card and a USB and then switched to cable and never looked back.

To sort the problem of songs buffering start the song and press pause then after it has finished or near to finished downloading press play and it will play without pauses.
