I recently bought the new Pro tools 8 M-Audio essentials not realizing it was not compatible with vista 64-bit, only 32-bit. UGH!
How can I get this program to work on my system? I am running Vista Ultimate x64, but I also have the 32-bit disc, and plenty of uses left
1. Can I make another partition in my HD and load 32-bit vista on that partition, then load protools on the same partition with it? will this work, I have never heard anyone doing this for one program.
2. Would it be better to load XP on the other partition and then load pro tools with it, then I could just use it in XP, which I would have to aquire a copy of. Will this work
I don't want to take the program back, yet I can't think of any other solutuions. All advice is appreciated.
