Printer Errors

I have Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit OS with Service Pack 1 Installed. All of my printers worked fine for the last three months. Now, all of a sudden, with no error messages or popups, they have all quit working. My USB ports are working with all other devices and the printers work fine with my laptop. The printers will read "ready" and the file will show as printing, but nothing happens. I have tired deleting the printer drivers and re-installing, but still nothing. Is it a coincedence that Windows updated my system (Loaded Service Pack 2) the day I started getting this error? I restored my system back to the day of update but still no printing capabilities. I tried using the Fix Option on this site and after scaning, it tells me that the fix is not compatable with 64-bit OS. Excuse me, but I thought this site, www.vistax64.com supported 64 bit OS! My job depends on my ability to print legal documentation.

Re: Printe Errors

Have a look in "Services" whether your Print Spooler is set to automatic. If not, set it to automatic (right click on the service > Properties).
