Pretty Slow Scans

Can you please recommend me a couple? If possible with FREE or only a couple of dollars shipping? Where would I connect it on my machine?? Dell Inspiron 518

Amazon has free shipping. I usually use the LaCie Firewire 800 D2 drives. You will need a separate Firewire 800 controller. They do run Firewire 400 on the tri-mode versions.

Perfect!! Does it support 500 G hard drive? Do I have that plug?? Dell Inspiron 518 Can you please give me a link for this product?

Does it require me to plug it in to the power??
