Love your collection pooch.

I know what you mean about animal madness, we're never without some animal or other here at the moment it's two cats and about 60 guinea pigs.
We've had dogs, cats, mice, rats, rabbits, gerbils endless variety of birds, horses to name a few :D

Wow!! and I thought this was good, how do you manage with so many guinea pigs, not all running around free I hope!!!
I would love it, you must have a lot of space. I have 102 sq/m here and it can very quickly become crowded with children and pets.

No they don't run around free, only in summer when we can put them in pens on the lawn, besides the fact they breed fast enough as it is without giving them a free reign :D

My husband breeds and shows them so we have several varieties as it's not always easy getting them to show standards. You have to breed in certain features and try and breed out the bad ones.

Don't have to worry about children as mine have all grown up and moved away and the nearest grandson is still only a baby

Nice it must be interesting hobby though!

My Children are also all grown up, the youngest is 18, but al are still living at home, not any grandchildren yet, but I still cant wait as I will need something to do when I am older:D

My youngest is 27 and she left home last year and was married at the beginning of September this year, so it's just me and her dad now and it's great, I like the quiet life it gives me more time to play on the computer :D

Oh for the quiet life. I'm on my third retirement. The first two times my old Company grabbed me back. This time my kids have got me working.

And why not, it's fun getting up when you like and not having to rush, in fact I don't get out of bed until my other half has brought me a cup of coffee

Mind you I couldn't work now if I wanted to I have a dodgy hip and osteoporosis, I still have long legs though, I'm now more like one of those old fashioned dolly pegs if anyone remembers them :D from being 5' 8½" to just barely 5' 4" the legs don't shrink though

Joan, you have got it good. And why not. I know about the ailments you speak of, and they prevent me from getting She Who Would Like To Be Obeyed a cup of coffee in bed.

Not good, my mum has that as well, its a real worry as she is always falling over. Keep on taking it easy and look after yourself

Thank you pooch, that's one thing so far I haven't fallen over but it is painful and so annoying because you can't do what you want to do anymore
