SGT Oddball, you are not being very nice. People come here for help, however basic it may be. If you have no help to give, then why reply at all?

Coolnewyorker, people who are currently running windows 7 are either very lucky and are on a special microsoft MSDN site, or they have simply downloaded an illegal leak which is available on torrentsites. Obviously, I don't approve of anything illegal, but if you want to know where such illegal torrentsites are, you could always send a private message to a certain someone...

I've decided to wait for a first release candidate before installing myself....

Actually, I always thought a megamillion undertaking as W7 would utilize a bunch of well credentialed techies to run it for a road test. I also had no idea it could be so obtained, alternatively.

Anyway, I just registered in W7 mainly to post same question. And the first reply is exactly what you said.

OK, so in a week or so we all can move on to a new system we have to hate first before falling in love with...al over again.
