Only some text has faded appearance.

I know it is possible to change the appearance of text on Vista, I believe it is called clear?

I only suffer feint text (looks like ink is running out on printed paper) on certain things ie. The Spybot home page or some windows when down loading stuff from the net.

Is there a tweak that brings ALL text up clean and clear?

Hello Alan,

You can check the usual items listed below to see if they may be able to help with this:

• Make sure that you are using the native screen resolution for your monitor.
• Check to see if you can use a higher screen refresh rate.
• Try the different ClearType settings to see if one looks better.
• Check the program to see if it has it's own font settings that can be adjusted.

I have set monitor at 1680x1050 for 21". Refresh rate is 60hertz.
I am using 'Windows Classic.'

Still some text is only in certain case faded!

I suppose that you could change the default font to another font to see if that may help also.
