ok im really pissed now

Gentelmen you might as well hang it up. He went back to XP. His deal was that he wanted someone to give him a magic bullet to fix all his problems. He didnt want to do any investigating. He just wanted it to work and that was that.

He'll be back in a year.

that's not true.
im always checking what's going on, and i do want to "investigate" so i would know how to deal with that problem somewhen in the future or whatever.

i just enterd intel's site.
MaraST78, thank you very much! i'll let you know whats going on soon.. :)
sorry for the delay.

You are using the same motherboard as me :) But, with the oldest BIOS.
I found that your CPU is officially supported on this board from BIOS ver 246, you are using the very first version, which is 216, latest is 293. There are also all drivers for this board listed. So be sure to download them too.
Upgdate BIOS and Drivers from Intel site here: Intel® Desktop Board DP35DP Overview There more ways of BIOS installation available to download, I would recommend the self-installing exe, it's being run from within the OS and does everything automatically. I used it too, it's flawless. It may just be that simlpe incomaptibility with mobo ver. and CPU you are using. All your specs are fine (FSB, voltages...)

Let me know how it goes :)

PS. If Prime is still running with no errors and it's more than those 12 hours, than the system is fine.

unfortunately, and as i expected, the BIOS update didn't fix the problem.. :\
i don't need to format and reinstall everything to be sure, right?
i hope you have other suggestions.. meanwhile the pc is ****ed up.
i can't read my e-mails with the outlook, play games, and so..

Hm, the only thing left is some kind of malware. I just can't think of anything else. Do you have only one partition, clean? Or is there another one, which can have potentionaly infected files? Because if u just install all necessary drivers and nothing else and the problem persists, than i really don't know, sorry.

P.S. If you wish we can arrange remote desktop connection, so i can actually see what's going on and if there is something else which can be done. In this case, just PM me and we can try it when i have time.

i have two hard drives and three partitations.
yes. there might be an infected file.. i didn't think about it..

remote desktop connection is a good idea, but before we'll do it, do you have any program that you recomand of that might find the infected file?
i don't use any antivirus and all that, so i win't be suprised..

My Computer

Just another point..if you aint got any protection, then install some antispyware software as well.. Also you can try the online checkups..such as this

VIRUS: Free Virus Scan - Kaspersky Lab

SPYWARE: Webroot Software, Inc.

Let us know what the results are.It will be interesting to find out if your PC is clean after all this time without protection..

Warhead if you werent using AV or spyware protection (for god knows how long). You "need" to go ahead and do a full reinstall of Vista and all apps and drivers. But this time install AV and spyware apps as well as vista firewall control. BEFORE GOING ONLINE. When you go online update your protection first then your OS.

i did it..
its just that i formated only partitaion C. where the windows is.
in the other partitations i have other apps that, ofcourse, i didn't deleted.
i re-installed all of the drivers and apps like office, and so..

i hope that were not stuck, and that you have some more sujestions for me..

Did you scan the other partitions with the AV and Spyware apps?
What was the results from the scans?
Have you tried the windows checkdisk function for all your partitions?

i scanned my pc with AV only, and i had two or three viruses max.
the AV took care of the, and everything started working!
but still, sometimes, i get the APPCRASH problem..

i didn't tried to scan with anti spyware because i don't have any.
i will get one and hopefully it will fix my problems..

Yes and also try the checkdisk to make sure your disk is OK with no hard faults.

try sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt, and see if it finds any files that are corrupt.

Its not an app as such, more of a command you enter into the command prompt window. You can find the command prompt window in Start-AllPrograms-Accessories-Command Prompt. Right click on Command Prompt, choose Run as Administrator, then type in: sfc /scannow. This will attempt to correct any corrupt files back to the Windows originals from a backup on the installation drive. You will find the full instructions in the TUTORIALS section.
