Crooks? The 965 TDP is 130w compared to i7 860 95w. The cost difference is minimal if you look at the power+performance. I will be buying a 5870 though if Nvidia can't bring out a proper gaming gpu by the first week of november. ATI may have a new supporter for gpu's.

I concur. Speaking of the 5870, if you have an dedicated sound card, such as an X-FI creative gamer do you have to make any external connections to the card if you connect the 5870 via hdmi to a monitor?
