Network icon missing in system tray on guess acct.

Is there a trick to make the network icon display in the system tray in a guest acct.? The network icon displays just fine on my admin acct, but not when I'm logged into my guest acct. that my daughter uses.

Navigated to Control Panel > Personalization > Taskbar and Start Menu > etc., etc. and found the option to enable the Network icon is greyed out.

Any ideas how to correct this? Reg fix maybe?

Hello Donna,

You might see if using the tutorial below to enable the Network icon may be able to fix this for you. It will need to be done from inside your administrator account.
