Need Help Please

I have vista home premium on my laptop and have just tried burning backup rar files to dvd but when I hit the burn files to dvd button it comes up with a box that says 'search active caption' and wont let me burn anything to dvd. I have no idea where this app/programme came from but when i did a search it showed it was linked to Bebo. How on earth do I get rid of it? When I right click any folder on the desktop 'search active captions' is also listed as an option. Any help would be great as I have googled this and cannot find an answer

Hello lisanorfolk,
Have you looked in control panel > add and remove programs, just to see if there is anything in there that can be un-installed.
Also look in start > all programs and see if there is anything connected to it there.

Yeah have checked all that and still cant find it - this is very frustrating lol

Have you run a search on your PC for this ?, start > search, try an advanced search and check the "show hidden files" box too.
You mentioned Bebo, do you have any Bebo components installed or had any Bebo components installed or an extra search bar of any type ?.

Yeah i Ran and search and it showed files relating to Bebo so I deleted all of these and still have 'active action' on my laptop

If you have deleted all the Bebo bits, the only other thing i can suggest is to try a registry cleaner in case there are entry's left there.
Try this cleaner. Back up your registry when prompted. Its free.
Delete any search bars you may have too.
