That would be a great idea.
Would there be any chance that 'nimbies like me maybe could learn a little, from the outside, that is, of the techniques required?

Yeah, that would be no problem at all. We need to sort everything out first, but once that's done we can share our knowledge with anyone who is willing to learn

I understand that it is a good cause, but why does everyone have MS ribbons on their sigs?

I think the reason was last month was MS awareness month and a few of the SF members added it to their sigs, I don't see why it is a trend that should continue here unless you really want too.

As for the GFX team, I'm a little busy atm but I'll take a look at it next week when things quieten down.

My wife has Progressive MS and is bedridden with this disease. I had to retire early to stay home and provide care for her as outside help was prohibitive.
March is MS Awareness Month and my friends in 7F wanted to show the ribbon for her courage in battling this disease.
So some the members here wanted to show support and asked for the ribbon to be attached to their sig.

Hope that answers some of your questions about the ribbon.

The MS Society does a great job from a promotion/contribution side.
This month, all over the US, they have MS 5k-10K walks, runs and other events going on.
My hands are full just taking care of my wife 24/7 so doing something outside the forum is not in the cards.
Good suggestion though!

Well how about someone training some of us to make these sigs and avatars and then the next time this comes around we can all get togehter and do something to raise some extra funds for them, with 100% of everything going to MS. I would love to help in some way and I am sure there are a lot more here at the forum that will help too. I am in all the way if you need anything so just hit me back with a PM or a post whatever I would be proud to help from arizona.

I just came across this post. I am not really interested in a Signature, for myself, but would like something that just shows my support. How about something in blue, that you feel is appropriate.
