Alright well I have no idea what is wrong with my computer anymore, I had reformated it earlier today and it was working fine then I had to install my networking card drivers and it was taking reasonably time to download so I was like alright I dont have time so I left to work came back 4 hours later and my computer was off I said to myself odd, so I tried turning it on went downstairs to get my supper it was off I was like okay...

So I turned it back on it got to the screen where it says run in safe mode or start up normally I hit enter and it literally turned off at that point I was frusterated.

So I turned it on again and it got to about the ASUS screen then turned off so then I turned it on 1 second later it turned off,

Can any one help me?

Hello Swifty,

Sounds like your best bet is to boot up and reinstall Vista.

If you can't get that, it could be bad hardware. Since the problem occurred during the networking installation, pull out the hardware for that, and see if it boots.

Take out ALL the hardware not NECESSARY to run your machine. This includes networking.

Possibly. To check that, load up BIOS then check temps. If any are way high, then let us know.

Well if it almost hit 100, then you have a problem. It could be that your thermal paste is shot, or that your fans have ceased to function. Just out of curiosity, are you using the stock cooler? You may need to try getting a new cooler.
