My CD ROM doesn't open

Yes, I don't think the issue will be resolved with the registry trick, unfortunately I believe the drive is faulty.

Drives today seem to crap out fairly often unfortunately. At least they're dirt cheap.

:Dfinally, i fixed the problem.. the solution is simple which is to Disengagement the CD ROOM from the computer and re-intalled it again.. :):)without formating or any otherthings... thank to all of you who support me and guide me to slove the problem..
I really appricate you effors and thanks again...;);););)
