Solved Monitor Troubles after deleting Hibernation files

I deleted my hibernation file to save disk space but forgot to disable hibernation. Now my monitor comes on for about 2 seconds and then turns off. I can get the screen back (for 2-3 secs at a time) by turning off the monitor and turning it back on. A second monitor exhibits the same type of behavior. I think I messed up the video by hibernating. Can I recover from this?

Try a System Restore to before you did this?

Try booting to the Advanced Boot Options menu: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/123496-safe-mode.html

Once there, select Last known good configuration, see if that works.
If not, boot to the menu again and select Enable low resolution video (640 x 480), see if that works.
If yes, once it finishes booting (it will look ugly), uninstall the Video card from Device Manger, then reboot.
Windows will rediscover the video and reload the drivers. See if that helps.
