Well I must admit if that hasn't fixed it I'm stumped.

Have you tried running the problem games from another user account? Try that.

Yes, you can always delete it later.

OK that's a good sign. This could mean its a setting that you have changed/been changed for you in your user account and/or a login item of yours.

Probably the easiest option here if you don't have too many personal preferences and settings would be to copy over all your documents/save games (if they are done by user not by PC) into the new user account.

If you do not want to do this (and personally I wouldn't want to) you could try various configurations of Startup programs etc.

How would i go about changing Start up items, i don't want to copy anything over to a new account. I really want to only keep this one

thank you for all of your hard work and dedication in helping me with my problem, but i just can not get this problem solved. I have tried everything. I think i will back up all of my files and just perform a system recovery.

OK trdragonite, that sounds like a fairly sensible solution. Just make sure you have EVERYTHING you want or need backed up.

At the very least we found a work around to the problem, just not a solution unfortunately.
