I do like Macs for there style and sleek looks, The OS is built for that hardware too wich is a plus thats why it runs so nice.

the only thing i dont like about mac is the PRICES! its extautionate it really is. 26" macpro thing (the whole things built into the screen), its like a 2.6 dual core, 4gb ram, 500gb hdd, 512mb ATI and costs £2000+! its mental!

I'd rather wait till iDeneb releases a Snow Leopard version.

That and also waiting for 2D/3D acceleration on my graphics (I finally can get native res on Leopard, but no QE/CI!).

I think mac's are fast, easy to use and overall fun. But they are too expensive. I can't afford a new macbook, but I can afford a Toshiba Laptop. But I went with hp and got my a** dragged across the carpet too many times.

yeah that is true. for the same specs a mac osx leaopord vs win 7 according to tomshardware.com outperforms the win 7 BUT for like 500 dollars more so if the mac and pc were at equal price pc would totally outperform

why get a mac when you can get a pc for the same price that totally trashes the mac for that same price.
my sister's friend wanted a new lappy and got a £1000 macbook. we asked her why she got that instead of pc and she said "well, it is the best"
what a stuck up little brat!

yeah man totally agree my friend got an imac for like 1200
its a core 2 duo 2.66 ghz with a 320 GB HDD and a 2 GB RAM with a 9400 GT. i built my entire system (specs below) for 900 thats 300 dollars less AND a much much faster pc. i wish i had a 5870 its much cheaper than the gtx 295 and it beats it sooo ati wins
btw i just calculated the cost of the same specs that the mac has in a pc. the cost would be around 665...
