I was minding my own business this weekend.. surfing and playing around.. then windows wantaed to do a restart after some updates.. afer that.. guess what... i was not able to read.. everything was like in wingdings....
got a strange feeling.. went to c:/windows/font and all I had there were 4 fonts.

and none were seen anywhere.. anyways.. good thing I have dual boot with XP.. copyed the basic Arial font and then chaged them all

Did a check.. came out clean from malware and i have avg running... so no virus.. the questions is not the regional and language settings here.. its the strange fact that after some updates the system lost all the fonts from the font folder.. i am attaching the picture of the update's i did.. my issue is fixed.. i wanted to share with other people if they could put some light on it or know what to do if it happen's to them...
