Lost disk

hi, i have lost my vista 64bit disk, i still have my activation serial number, if i download a rescue disk can i install vista with the rescue disk. thanks.

The "rescue disk" is not an installation disk. Ask where you bought the disk (MS or OEM) to send you a new one. They usually do that for a little fee. You can also use an MS installation disk borrowed from a friend.
