Lorien, you are doing a fine job on this forum. If it was not for yourself and Richard (and I guess Shawn who pops in from time to time), this forum would be dead. I only wish I could type as fast as you - LOL.

Thanks, whs! That was truly nice and I appreciate it a lot. And although I do type pretty fast, sometimes it's a matter of cut and paste from a 50-page Word answer template that saves me a lot of time. And there are a few others who contribute quite a bit - I don't want to name them all in case I miss someone - but the number of regular contributors is not very high at all (nothing like SF). Still we manage to keep up with the volume of posts somehow and provide good replies, and in a reasonably timely fashion, so I guess that's what's important. You may notice that the date of the largest number of people online at the same time in VF was only about 2 months ago - so the forum isn't dead yet. Since I can't upgrade to W7, I plan to stick it out here until it really does slow down to the point where it becomes pointless - but I think that may still be a year or more away (perhaps even longer).

Sorry I could not answer any earlier - holidays. But I guess you are right. There is still a sizable Vista community that needs help. My specific Vista skills seem to dwindle since I really hardly ever use it any more. But fortunately there are a lot of commonalities with Win7.

Too bad you cannot update to Win7. That is a fine OS and I am sure you would have a ball with it. Keep up the good work around here. I will pop in from time to time too and help where I can.
