I have to add, this version no longer has official support for Windows Vista

Yeah, it's odd that it has official support for XP SP3, Windows 7, and Windows 8, but not Vista.

It'll install and run on Vista, but there's just not any "official" support for Vista. That's all.

As Adobe Reader doesn't support Vista, i prefer Foxit Reader. It is a faster, lighter, more able Windows alternative to Adobe Reader.

Feel free to prefer what you like, but Adobe Reader does support Vista.

What about Adobe Reader 11.0.10 released 9 Dec 2014? I'm hesitant to install software that is not officially supported on Vista, but 10.1.13 only works on my administrator account.

11.0.10 is supports Vista.

Vista users must select a newer Windows version at https://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/ to get 11.0.10, but it did seem to work perfectly except for one thing: I set it to notify me when an update was available, but after all these months there has been no notification, and running Check for Updates manually told me "no updates available." I recently found that there have been three subsequent updates, the latest being 11.0.13, so I downloaded the patch from https://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5987, which also seems to work just fine on Vista. (Regular quarterly patches are cumulative, so the two previous patches were not needed in this case.)

I wonder if any Vista users have tried to install the new Acrobat Reader DC?
