Can you please tell me the difference between to two links above?:huh:
One just downloads and installs the files that are missing and/or need updating (less than 10 MB usually); the other is the complete download that contains all DX files (both 9 and 10) and is a shade over 92 MB, and once installed the downloaded file can be deleted.
Ideally if you have run the redistributable in the past you should only need to run the smaller runtime update.
Oh and at senthurpandian,
1. As johngalt said no.
2. CS:S is a DX 9 game, you can't force it to use DX 10. Doesn't matter whether the OS, the hardware and everything else supports DX 10, if the game wasn't written to use DX 10 you it won't.
Oh and nice copy of Vista there. Really wish people would stop advertising that they are using illegal copies.
